The name is a nod to HyperTalk, the language that first opened the door to software for our founder. That story begins below.

The year was 1992, and I was eight years old when my whole world changed.

My stepfather was developing software in HyperCard, using HyperTalk as the language. Watching him build things on the screen was fascinating. For the first time, I saw how you could give instructions to a machine and immediately see the result visually.

The whole concept of building things in layers, combining interface, logic, content, and interaction, made software feel almost tangible. It was not just code hidden away somewhere. It was something you could shape, explore, and experience.

That moment sparked something in me.

HyperCard made technology feel creative and accessible. It showed me that software was not only about solving problems, but also about expressing ideas, experimenting, and creating something that others could use.

Looking back, that was probably where my journey as a developer really began. With curiosity, a screen and the realization that you could build worlds from instructions.
